Maruti Swift arguably the best and most famed hatchbacks on
the Indian roads. The company is no mood to stop and is going to launch a
swifter version of the Maruti Swift on the 17th of August 2011. The newer version
is expected to have a 1.2L VVT petrol engine delivering 92 bhp. The latest
avatar of the Swift is already on the roads in Europe. As per source reports
the new car has already stacked up 38,000 advance bookings, again a first time
in the auto circuits. The new Swift is wider and with improved interiors.
Toyota Etios Liva, Ford Figo, Nissan Micra and the Hyundai i10 all seem to have
their jobs cut out for them. The new Maruti Swift can be expected to come in
both the petrol and diesel version for the Indian roads.Exteriors:  Surely the
Swift seems to be getting bigger and better. The designs are also a notch
higher. The headlights are tilting upwards with fog lamps for good road vision.
The first opinion is that it is muscular as well at the grilles as is the case
with entire body. The C-pillar adds more muscle to give it a never before seen
looks. Even the big car fans will be tempted to vouch for this small wonder.
The rear is no less in beauty with accurate brake lights for safe driving. The
company has always been the most understanding of the Indian roads and so far
has built every car on the same module of understanding. No matter what the
road conditions the car is sure expected to be yet another hit on the auto
charts.



Interiors: The fashionable machine is also expected to be
adorned in the interior section as well. The dash board will be wider with the
glove compartment. The car is claimed to be as usual more than enough in terms
of space for the occupants. The problem of the head room and leg room will just
be missed in this car. The double color interior is surely another matter of
pride in the design. The hatchback comes with an inbuilt Audio system, AC
vents, tachometer, speedometer and digital odometer, instrumentation display,
climate control system etc. Lavishness and comfort seems to be the hall mark of
the interiors.



Safety Features: Safety features are on the advanced mode
with ABS, Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), keyless entry and seatbelt
pre-tensioners (In the event of a crash, a pre-tensioner will tighten the belt
at once, thereby preventing the occupant from a sudden jerk), automatic climate
control, driver seat height adjuster, 12V accessory socket in the luggage area,
electromagnetic type tailgate opener, rear window wiper and de-mister, dual
front airbags etc.



The price tag of the Maruti Swift car falls around Rs. 6
lakhs. The petrol variant of the car delivers 18 Kmpl, while the diesel variant
will churn 22.2 Kmpl on Indian roads. The new Maruti Swift competes with the
likes of Hyundai i20, VW Polo, Honda Jazz, Ford Figo, Toyota Etios Liva and
Nissan Micra.
