Toyota Etios is one of the
successful sedans in Indian market. It
was first displayed at Delhi Auto Expo in 2010. Now, it is a flagship vehicle
of Toyota Motors in India. It is a strong competitor against sedans like Honda
City, Swift Dzire, and Indigo CS etc. The heart touching shades like Vermilion
Red, Serene Bluish Silver, Symphony Silver, White, Harmony Beige and Celestial
Black compromises customer heart to buy it blindly. The Company has recently
launched its first hatchback Toyota Etios Liva in India. Liva was expected to
launch in March or April 2011.But due to the high demand for Etios the company
launched Liva on July 27th 2011. This shows the demand for Toyota Etios in India;
Customers still need to wait at least 2 months to get Etios. Currently Etios is
available only in petrol variants; the Company is likely to launch diesel
variants in December 2011. The diesel variant is expected to load with 1.4L
engine, which will have the same power of Corolla Altis. Etios is a sedan which
is not only available in India but also Russia, South America etc countries
around the world. The demand for Honda City and Maruti Swift Dzire decreased
due to Etios launch.



Exteriors: The most appealing
part of its exterior is the glowing grille at the front fascia. The body
colored door handles and bumpers adds the beauty for the vehicle. The symbol of
the Company is smartly fitted at the centre (Front side). The elegantly
designed the head and fog lamps are good. The impressive thing about this
vehicle is its unique ‘C’ Pillar. The 6 spoke alloy wheel adds the sporty look
for the car. It looks muscular from the rear side. The exterior design of the
vehicle is much better than its competitors in domestic market. The exterior
design of the car makes you to feel good value for money. Overall the exterior
design of the car is excellent.



Engine: It is currently available
in only petrol version with 1 engine options i.e. 1.5L DOHC engine. It has a
capacity to generate the maximum power of 90ps at 5600rpm and the peak torque
of 132 Nm at 3000rmp in domestic market.  The engine is loaded with 5-speed manual
transmission to meet the taste of Indian customers. This is one of the best
engines in India as per as the fuel economy is concerned. Because the report of
ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India) says, it gives the mileage of
17.6 Kmpl on Indian roads. So, it is one of the best fuel economic sedans as
well. Overall the engine of the car is well built and has capable to be attract
customers.   



Interior and safety features: The
top end variant of this car houses extraordinary safety features like ABS,
Airbags, Rear wipe or a washer, Rear defogger, Steering adjustments, Power
Windows, Power steering, Dash integrated music arrangement, Steering mounted
audio controlling system etc. The basic model does not get much safety
features.  The interior style of this
vehicle leaves a mark in your heart. It is very spacious, leg and head room is
not at all a problem inside the vehicle. The wide dash board is the central
attraction inside the car. The AC vents and the quality seats give unbelievable
comfort even in the long journeys. It is priced at Rs. 5, 07,000 - Rs. 7,
01,500; you will never feel that you have spent more money. Because the
interior, exterior and safety features are really awesome. Overall this vehicle
is a mixture of beauty, comfort and power.
