Maruti Cervo is the new small car from India’s auto giant
Maruti in the market. One can look at it as a rival to counter attack the Tata
Nano and its low cost. Though Maruti is the market master in the small car race
the Tata Nano has eaten into the Maruti 800 sales. To further reduce its cost the
company can reduce some features from the original make that is in Japan.Maruti Cervo Engine:
The battle for the cheapest car has started with Tata Nano
already setting the paces. Keeping this head start in mind, Maruti is leaving
no stone unturned to launch its Maruti Cervo. The Maruti Cervo will be a five
door hatchback with spacy cabin. Maruti Cervo will have a 0.7L, 660cc
gasoline engine of upto 60bhp. This sure looks to pack some spicy performance
with greater mileage.

Exterior:  Surely looks matter. That’s seems to be the mantra for the Maruti
Cervo. Its spunky body has the right shapes and curves, to make you will
fall in love with at first sight. The front is sleek with a mix of tradition
and style. The headlight is an 'eye' shape with a smiling grille and chrome
finish. Although the rear door will be not as wide as compared to the front
door.The tyres are encompassed by wheel covers. Thought there is no official
reports we can say that it would match the size of the Maruti Alto.

Interiors: It’s a small car. But don’t get
fooled by that. It is spacious. Maruti Cervo has a wider dashboard
comprising of AC at the front and rear. The occupant seats for driver and other
passengers are wide and comfy with small headrest. There is enough body space pretty
enough for all the four passengers. The roofing and floor space is compact in
order to provide enough space. As of now we do not have the exact figures on
the interiors but surely it’s going to be nothing short of comfortable.





Riding and Handling:
Maruti Cervo has already proved its mettle in the
land of the samurai and is expected to do the same in India. Braking system in Maruti
Cervo will have front disc and rear drum brake. One can also expect 12 inch
wheels with over 2,000 mm of wheelbase for good road grip. Power steering enables
to handle it with less effort. The Maruti Cervo is expected to be fitted
with central locking and AC.
Maruti Cervo Safety Features: Maruti Cervo is expected to come with standard safety
measures. It will include the usual front airbags, engine immobilizer, child
safety lock, seat-belts and anti-theft system.



The Maruti Cervo is expected to have
an AC feature to it but mostly it will comprise standard features available
along with any entry level segments. There is no confirmation on the variants
as well. It is expected that the Maruti
Cervo price will fall in the range of Rs 1.5 lacs to Rs 2 lacs with an
estimated mileage of 20 to 24 kmpl.
